PRANAV SHARMA & ORS. v. STATE (NCT OF DELHI) & ANR.

Delhi High Court quashes Moti Nagar 498A/406 FIR after complainant wife settles with husband's side

The High Court allowed the petition and quashed FIR No. 521/2024 of PS Moti Nagar (Sections 498A/406/34 IPC) and all proceedings arising from it, since the complainant had compromised the disputes and the State had no objection.

Why it matters: Shows the court quashing a matrimonial cruelty and criminal breach of trust case on a settlement, to avoid putting parties through a full trial.
