J U D G M E N T (ORAL)
1. Petitioner/wife seeks expeditious disposal of proceedings filed by her for execution of maintenance order.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel that the execution proceedings pertaining to the maintenance order are pending since July 2025 but till date no effective order has been passed. It is submitted that till date, only Rs.50,000/- has been received by the petitioner in execution proceedings while the current outstanding amount is Rs.14,00,000/- approximately.
W.P.(CRL) 3415/2026 Page 2 of 2 pages 3. It is also submitted by learned counsel that earlier, the present respondent even made a statement before a co-ordinate bench of this Court on 29.05.2026 in Contempt Case (C) No. 429/2024 and undertook to pay at least Rs.4,00,000/- to the present petitioner within three months, but not a single penny has been paid. This is indeed a serious issue. More so, because as pointed out by learned counsel, his application dated 30.06.2025 for attachment of assets of the respondent remains not decided till date.
4. In view of the above circumstances, notice of this petition to respondent is not required.
5. The petition is disposed of directing the learned execution court to dispose of the said application dated 30.06.2025 of petitioner within 15 days of the date already fixed ( 21.11.2026). Copy of this order be sent to the learned trial court for compliance.
